User Reviews

Omnia Music Player is praised for its ad-free feel, clean UI, and a feature-rich playback experience (cast, folder/album views, gapless playback, playback speed) with reliable library management. However, recurring concerns include non-random shuffle behavior, premium/billing access issues, mixed ad presence, album-organization limitations (no album merging), and occasional Bluetooth problems. Overall it’s a strong, easy-to-use app with notable strengths in UI and playback, but with room for improvement in shuffle consistency and premium handling.
Pros
  • Ad-free experience reported by multiple reviewers (no ads)
  • Beautiful, minimalistic UI and easy-to-use interface
  • Feature-rich playback options including cast, folder/album views, gapless playback, and playback speed
  • Reliable library management and quick song discovery across devices
  • Strong performance and stability with simple library population
Cons
  • Shuffle behavior can feel non-random or inconsistent (reviews note grouped/shuffled playback)
  • Premium features and billing can be unreliable or have access issues (billing/invoice problems)
  • Ads presence or absence is inconsistent across reviews (some users see ads, others report ad-free)
  • Album organization limitations (cannot merge albums; organization could be improved)
  • Occasional Bluetooth connectivity issues (intermittent breaks when connecting to Bluetooth)

The app that Google forgot to produce... ...a couple of years ago I move from an iPhone to a Google Pixel. It took a couple of days to get used to it and all was fine again. Everything worked the same or better than my 6 year old iPhone, except that there was no music player. It took a while to find this app - all I wanted was to play music stored on my phone (copied from CDs that I own), even when there is no internet (eg flying) and no adverts. Apple Music does this. Omnia for Android also.
