Features & Capabilities

IP Radio Spirit Box is a unique Chrome extension that replicates the traditional spirit box experience by sweeping through online UK-based IP radio station broadcasts. Unlike physical spirit boxes that use radio waves in the air, this app connects to internet radio stations to play random sounds, potentially allowing spirits to communicate via IP radio waves.

Once launched, the app downloads a curated list of internet radio stations from www.SpottedGhosts.com and cycles randomly through them to produce varied audio streams. It requires an active internet connection via Wi-Fi or mobile data and creates a designated folder on your device for its operation. The app includes non-personalized ads served through Google AdMob, with adherence to privacy policies outlined on the developer’s website and Google’s platform.

Note: Use this extension at your own discretion. The developer disclaims responsibility for any paranormal or other outcomes from using the app.

Reviews are mixed. Some users enjoy the app and report capturing apparent voices or evidence, while recurring complaints focus on a scan speed that is too slow, ordinary radio content interfering with sessions, and crashes or freezes.

Pros

Several users enjoy the app and describe it as fun or worthwhile.
Some users report capturing clear voices or other apparent evidence during sessions.

Cons

The sweep/scan is too slow, even at its fastest setting.
Music, radio stations, or commercials often come through instead of the spirit-related audio users expect.
The app freezes or crashes for some users shortly after launch.
