Gallipoli MAB

The mobile application, prepared in both Italian and English, allows the visitor to enjoy in-depth textual content, images and videos on four key places in the historic center of Gallipoli (LE): The Civic Museum, the Historical Archive, the Municipal Library, and the Coppola Room.
Each section of the app, in turn, is made up of further in-depth information on artefacts, objects and books from the collections, together with a section dedicated to illustrious figures from the history of Gallipoli, who have been animated in 2D starting from the preserved portraits in the Civic Museum. Furthermore, thanks to a section dedicated to augmented reality, the user can frame markers positioned in some places in the historic center with their smartphone, and obtain 3D content or insights into what is in front of them in response.
In addition, there is a map of the historic center useful for identifying panels containing QR codes, with links to informative video clips.
