Palette

Palette is a Chrome extension that simulates the eternal artist's struggle to find the perfect color. Players mix colors from a limited palette to match target hues from well-known paintings. When all targets are matched, the full famous painting is revealed along with a short art history fact, making the game both playful and educational.

Designed by Lauren — a finalist in Google Play’s Change the Game Design Challenge — Palette was developed in partnership with Girls Make Games. It lets artists and learners explore color theory and mixing without wasting paint, offering a creative, low-stakes way to practice color matching and learn about classic artworks.
