The app is pretty basic. I am using it to operate my ACs when I am not home or to schedule on/off hours. It does not have all the functions the remote control has. The biggest issue I am facing is that there is no option to turn off the display light; I have to use the remote control instead.

just purchased the AC from Amazon, following the instructions in the box, faced with the email registration - it took 30min between applying and getting the code. in the meantime have read the hundreds of horror stories in the App review, trying to "Contact Support" as suggested in step 4 seems impossible, they only want to hear from trade customers wanting to sell their goods, looks like the AC is going back to Amazon if they are not capable or willing to support even the sign-up process.
