Campobet takes the calm of a fitting puzzle and gives it a matching rule on top. Three foraged pieces sit in the basket under an eight by eight grid. Drag a piece onto the board and it drops wherever every square of it lands on empty ground. There is no rotation and no undo, so where you put the first piece decides what the third one can do.

Every square of a piece carries a fruit: cloudberry, rowan, juniper, wild pear or sloe. Line up three or more of the same fruit in a row or a column and the whole run clears at once. That gives you two ways to think about the same board, because a piece is both a shape that has to fit and a set of colours that might clear.

A completely full row or column also clears, whatever fruit is in it. That is the safety valve for the moment the colours refuse to cooperate and the board is filling up.

Clearing more than one group from a single drop builds a streak, and the streak multiplies everything that goes with it. Setting up a drop that finishes a colour run and a full row at the same time is the best feeling the game has.

When all three pieces have been used a new set of three arrives. If not one of them can fit anywhere, the camp is over, so leaving room for a four square piece matters even when you cannot see one yet.

Twenty camps make the trail, each with a score to reach before the basket runs out of room. From camp six a fifth fruit joins the forage and every colour gets that little bit rarer.

Badges track your longest clear, your biggest streak and your three hundredth piece. A ranger board lists your best score next to the regulars of the woods. Everything is stored on this device only, and a single button in the settings clears it.
