Dibur - Israel's new messenger

Dibur is a messaging app for groups that get things done together: the building committee, the class parents, the neighbourhood, volunteers in an emergency. Personal chats, groups and communities, built Hebrew-first and right-to-left.

What's in Dibur
• Personal chats and groups, with photos, videos, files, voice messages, location and emoji.
• Communities: one place for all of a community's groups, joined with an invite code or through the community directory.
• Join questions: community admins know who is asking to join before they approve.
• Events: meetups, lectures, games, home dinners, with RSVP and an event chat.
• Community stories that disappear after a time the poster chooses.
• Folder tree: organise people, chats and communities in your own folders.
• Finding people: by phone number, by handle, or from your contacts, without sending us your address book.

Your privacy, no fine print
• Servers in Israel: messages, photos and files are stored on our servers in Israel.
• Your address book stays with you: it is never uploaded or stored. To find who is already on Dibur, only a short code computed from the numbers is sent.
• Told up front: what is collected and where it goes is on the very first screen, before we ask for a phone number.
• No ads.
• Delete your account from Settings at any time.

Dibur is in beta. Hit a problem? Settings → Report a problem, and we'll get back to you with the report number.
