Click To Contain Firefox

Click To Contain

Lets external links on configured sites open in random containers. For on google, reddit, facebook or any other media site links pointing to external websites can be configured to open in automatically created random containers.

Features & Capabilities

Similar to Temporary Containers, but with limited functionality only handling the extremely limited usecase of creating a random+temporary container when a link is clicked upon.

The difference between the addons is the attempt of this addon to handle cases where the URL is changed before the click. This is done by adding a "mousedown" handler immediately when the link element is created. It theoretically should be called before any other handler.

This is experimental, so Temporary Containers might actually be what you're looking for if you're into nice UIs :)

User Reviews

Very nice! Not yet fully functional, though: it does not work on some sites like Google search, so search result ends up in the same container as Google search (that is probably because Google changes link with JS). Hope it gets fixed. Thank you for working on this extension!
