ClearFax: Send Fax from Phone

ClearFax is a fax app for sending faxes from your phone or tablet, without a fax machine. Scan paperwork with the camera or pick a PDF, enter the fax number, and send. You pay per fax, with no subscription and no account.

PAY PER FAX

• No subscription, no sign-up, no login.
• You see the exact price before you pay. It depends on the number of pages, not on the destination country.
• Up to 50 pages per fax, plus a cover page that's included and never billed.
• Pay as you go: one purchase covers one fax.

HOW TO SEND A FAX

1. Scan documents with the camera, or import PDFs and photos from your phone. You can also share a PDF or photo to ClearFax from another app.
2. Reorder or remove pages.
3. Enter the fax number, or pick it from Contacts. ClearFax checks the number before you pay.
4. Check the pages and the price, then send.
5. Follow the fax status as the fax network sends it.

A RECEIPT PDF FOR EVERY FAX

Every fax that goes through gets a receipt PDF: destination, page count, when it was sent and completed, the fax network's result, and a support code. Share it, print it, or file it.

IF A FAX FAILS

If the fax network reports a failed or partial send, your purchase is not used up. Every purchase includes at least two attempts, and the app shows the exact number before you pay. Fix the fax number and resend the same pages. If every attempt fails, the purchase ends and the app shows your job ID.

WHAT PEOPLE FAX

• IRS forms, such as Form SS-4 to apply for an EIN
• Medical records and forms for a doctor's office or pharmacy
• Insurance claims and paperwork
• Court and government forms
• Signed contracts, applications and HR paperwork
• Documents for offices abroad, such as in Germany, Japan or the UK
Whether an office accepts a faxed document is up to that office.

Americas: United States (including Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Islands), Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela
Europe: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Estonia, Faroe Islands, France (including French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Réunion), Germany, Gibraltar, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
Asia and Oceania: Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Türkiye
ClearFax can't send to some number ranges within these countries. The app tells you before you pay.

THE APP

Works on Android phones and tablets.
Light and dark mode.
In English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and Korean, following your device language.
Faxes are sent in black and white.
ClearFax only sends faxes. It does not receive faxes and does not give you a fax number.

PRIVACY

Your pages are deleted from our server once the fax reaches a final status.
Our fax provider holds a copy until it expires on their own schedule.
No ads.
We use limited product analytics as described in our Privacy Policy.

GOOD TO KNOW

A successful send means the fax network reported the transmission complete, not that a person read or accepted it.
