Foxified allows you to emulate Firefox extensions seamlessly within Chrome, Opera, and other Chromium-based browsers. It provides an Emulation Sandbox that serves Firefox add-ons in a unique, secure origin, ensuring enhanced safety and separation from your main browser environment.

The extension implements the WebExtension API, polyfilling many browser and Chrome APIs including XHR, enabling better compatibility with supported Firefox extensions. Moreover, Foxified offers an extra layer of protection by making all permissions optional, only requesting them at the time of installing the add-on.

Please note that Foxified currently supports only a subset of Firefox extension APIs and compatibility varies. The team actively works on adding support for more APIs. Importantly, Foxified respects user privacy by not collecting analytics or user data itself. However, users should remain cautious with guest extensions they install.
