Features & Capabilities

Claude Code Probe is a lightweight element inspector for developers. Activate Probe Mode with one click, then hover over any element to see a live info card showing its tag, classes, dimensions, layout properties, and DOM breadcrumb path. A wireframe outline follows your cursor with smooth transitions so you can see exactly what you're targeting without blocking content.

Click to select an element and choose from three copy actions:

  • Copy Element — a structured text summary with CSS selector path, skeleton HTML (text truncated, depth limited), key computed styles, and dimensions
  • Copy Screenshot — a pixel-perfect PNG of the element with its background
  • Copy Both — text summary and screenshot together in the clipboard
Built for developers who want to quickly grab element context to paste into AI coding assistants, share with teammates, or reference while building. All processing happens locally in your browser — no data is collected or transmitted.
