User Reviews

Users find the add-on useful and generally functional, with channel-mapping and a Watching tab/window. However, the main recurring issues are unreliable chat replacement and missing Twitch features due to the browser-embedded Chatterino, along with trade-offs in functionality versus the standalone client.
Pros
  • Generally works well and is useful.
  • Tells Chatterino which Twitch channel you are watching.
  • Provides a Watching tab and a separate Chatterino window while still allowing the default Twitch chat for features not supported by Chatterino.
Cons
  • Replace Twitch chat toggle is unreliable: chat is replaced unexpectedly or requires constant toggling off/on.
  • Embedding Chatterino in the browser hides or removes Twitch features (polls, raids) that aren’t supported by Chatterino.
  • In-browser integration (instead of managing standalone windows) can limit functionality compared to the standalone client.

Will tell chatterino which channel you're watching. But the on/off toggle to replace chat does not work so you have to constantly close a second instance of chatterino/ toggle it. (Both chrome and mozilla extension)
