2025-10-02	Ha*****	I used to use character.ai manager up until the last few days ago when it no longer functioned anymore. How frustrating. I could be using the add-on wrong, but here are a few functionality issues. 1) Every time I want to open the menu, it opens it in a whole other window. It breaks my flow and makes me have to mess with my other windows. 2) Adding memories is annoying now, because it always leaves a message about it in the text. You can turn on a setting to hide this, but it leaves a big space above every message after. 3) For some reason, ever since I swapped to this, I can't put my text in italics with text or in bold with text, and so on. This is flair that I enjoy, and it no longer functioning with this add-on enabled is a big downside. Here are some benefits. 1) Mass-swipe is a lot faster now. Not sure if it has to do with the swap from character.ai tools to chatbot manager, but nice upgrade. 2) Organization of the menu itself is much better. Or the 'panel' I should say. Much easier to navigate and makes more sense. That's really it. I think I'm just mostly frustrated by the random separate panel in a different window whereas the other menu was just superimposed over your open chat, and that the memory function is much worse now.
