CAI Tools is a powerful browser extension that enhances Character.AI with workflow and customization features. It adds a Memory Manager (including the mobile app’s memory box on web), Background Manager (animations, opacity & blur), font controls, message bubble colors, avatar sizing and custom avatars, greeting lists per character, dice-roll mode, and options to hide edited indications. Use quick-access categorized characters, preload and mass swipe for instant interactions, and download chats or character cards as transferable files.

Advanced utilities include cloning and importing chats and characters, a searchable library for character cards and chat histories, and a GPT/janitorai-powered greeting generator. Open CAI Tools from the top-right button in Character.AI or the extension icon. Mobile support is available via Firefox and Kiwi browsers. For setup, guides, or to report bugs, consult the included documentation and GitHub issue tracker; membership and donations are supported via Patreon.
