I've found a solution for the Spotify web browser https://open.spotify.com/ (no idea if it works for the app too). Install the Spotify Playback Speed Access app, the one in this page. Then download and install spotitySpeedExtension-faf0-fix-issue-7 from https://github.com/faf0/spotitySpeedExtension/tree/faf0/fix-issue-7. Unzip it and remember the folder. Then, open extension page in Chrome - chrome://extensions/ -, enable developer mode, hit load unpacked and select the extracted folder. Now you got two Spotify Playback Speed Access in the extensions list. You'll see the new installed extension (ID: onhbbkbloiaimekkcjlcbffgngmhkcij) with an orange mark and it gives an error Now in the same page simply disable (not remove) the first downloaded official Spotify Playback Speed Access app (ID: cgbihpjbhpdfbdckcabcniojdhcgblhd), load or reload Spotify web page and that's it. It works perfectly, at least to me. To be sure, I've kept the first Spotify Playback Speed Access app , don't know if it's the same to keep it or to remove it.
