What is Spotify on Browser?

Spotify on Browser is a Chrome extension designed to streamline the user's experience of Spotify. It turns Chrome into an accessible Spotify player that plays in the browser background. It liberates the need for keeping Spotify website open, and offers global keyboard shortcuts that make controlling your music more convenient. With this extension, users can also transfer their playback to Chrome with just one click.

Spotify has a really cool feature called Spotify Connect. Basically it could turn anything into a Spotify player, and control it with your cellphone. I made this app trying to connect Spotify with Chrome.(Check it out: Firefox version is released!)

Why use this player instead of Spotify website?

Play in background of Chrome, no need to keep Spotify website open;
Global keyboard shortcut to play/stop/next/previous/like; ("Like" means to save the track into your library.)
Transfer playback to Chrome seamlessly with just one click.

How nice Chrome Extention player that i want!! I think if it had adjusting volume function, it will be more nice

It works great i love it so much you just have to set the keyboard shortcuts to "in chrome" on chromebook for them to work. The only thing that needs work is it disconnecting from your account and you needing to reauthorize constantly, otherwise this is one of the best extentions I have ever used.
