There are so many of these type extensions that it challenges my patience.
This extension requires you to click the icon after your selection. The pop up window attached at top is pretty big, but will disappear when you choose something else.
I prefer this over the context menu extensions, though I prefer a live selection (counts as you select) view vs click-and-find out.
