What is QR Code?
"QR Code" is a Chrome extension that generates QR codes for URLs and texts. This versatile tool also scans QR codes via context menus, local files, and webcam. All processes are executed locally on your browser, ensuring data privacy. With options to customize margin, size, and error correction of the generated QR code, it also allows for downloading the code in two formats, png, or svg. The extension is handy in scanning images from their URLs, local files, or from the camera. Further, it supports the generation of QR codes from selected text, link address, or media address. It also recognizes other barcodes on macOS and Chrome OS.

- When you click the extension icon, it shows you QR code for current page URL. And you can change input and download QR code. There are two buttons at the bottom for custom generating and scanning QR code in a new page.
For generating QR code, you can: • Input any URL or text • Adjust margin • Adjust size • Adjust error correction • Download as png or svg file. • Copy to clipboard.
For scanning QR code, it supports: • Scan an image by it's URL • Select or drag and drop a local image file
