What is W3Schools Hider?

The 'W3Schools Hider' is a browser extension designed for Google Chrome that assists web developers by blocking misleading information from appearing in their search results. It primarily targets misinformation from W3Schools.com, a commonly identified aggravating site. An added feature allows users to customize and add additional domains they wish to hide from their search results. The extension was created to replace a previous version after its sale and incorporation of tracking code and ad content, restoring users’ trust with its open-source, non-invasive design.

This is a replacement for a previous version of this extension that was sold to a third party and modified to inject tracking code and ad content on pages. This is a re-published copy of the open-source code at https://github.com/Spetnik/W3Schools-Hider, and does not inject any malicious code.
