AMA MyRide is a type of telematics or usage based insurance that tracks your driving habits and provides feedback related to acceleration, hard braking, speeding, distracted driving and cornering, as well as the overall length of the trip.

By enrolling in AMA MyRide, you’ll receive an immediate discount up to 10% just for participating. If you’re a safe driver, high driving scores could mean an even bigger discount in the future. This is a discount only program and you’ll never see a premium increase due to low driving scores.

It Feels invasive like a silent back seat driver. Even though I'm getting "good scores" I can pull over park the car with engine off to make a call and still get dinged for cell use or drive my work truck under different insurance and get tracked. It constantly asks you if you were the driver, which from my understanding they can already tell. I'll have to see how much money this actually saves to continue.

25 minute drive. 3 minutes in i stopped at a gas station and while filling my tank i was on my phone. This dumb app lowered my scored because it takes a few minutes to stop the trip and there is no option to manual stop or pause. It also kills battery and will always think you're hard braking when you certainly haven't. I take an off ramp to lights, I coast 70% and light brake the rest... dings me 3 or 4 times every day
