Browser Media Controls

Browser Media Controls connects your browser media to the Browser Media Controls Windows app and Stream Deck plugin, giving you fast control over playing tabs without switching windows.

The extension detects active media sessions in supported browser tabs and sends media status locally to the desktop app or Stream Deck plugin. It is designed for playback controls, tab focus, switching media sessions, widgets, taskbar controls, Dynamic Island, and Stream Deck actions.

Key Features:

Windows App Integration: Connects browser media to the Browser Media Controls Windows app for Dynamic Island, flyout, widgets, taskbar controls, hotkeys, and the Now Playing page.

Stream Deck Integration: Works with the Browser Media Controls Stream Deck plugin for keys and dials, including media controls, media info, switch media, focus tab, close tab, and site-specific controls.

Universal Media Controls: Control media playing on many websites, with dedicated support for YouTube, YouTube Music, Twitch, Kick, Netflix, SoundCloud, and Plex web.

Media Switching: Switch between multiple active media sessions and control the one you want.

Playback Controls: Play, pause, mute, unmute, seek, adjust volume, focus the media tab, or close the media tab.

Real-Time Media Info: Syncs title, site, artwork, playback status, timestamp, duration, volume, and live/paused state where available.

Privacy First: Media data is sent locally. Browser Media Controls does not upload, sell, or share your media history.

Requirements:

• Browser Media Controls Windows app, Stream Deck plugin, or both.
