Boost YouTube is a Chrome extension designed to improve your video watching experience on YouTube. It displays the current playback rate and video resolution in the top-left corner, so you always know the quality and speed of your video. When you enter fullscreen mode, it automatically switches the video to its native resolution for optimal viewing.

Additionally, Boost YouTube hides the playback controls and video title when you move your mouse to the left edge of the screen in fullscreen, providing a cleaner viewing space. It also allows you to view video thumbnails in a new tab and features a handy shortcut (Alt+Y) to quickly open YouTube in a new tab. Note: This extension does not unblock YouTube content.
