blockmaxxing — Ad Blocker for Twitch

blockmaxxing removes ads from Twitch — including the stream-level (server-side inserted) ads that ordinary blockers can't touch — entirely on your device.

Twitch stitches ads directly into the video stream, so simply hiding an element or blocking a URL doesn't work. blockmaxxing runs inside the player, detects the ad-stitched segments in the stream playlist, and swaps in an ad-free stream.

HONEST NOTE No Twitch ad blocker is perfect. Twitch changes how it serves ads frequently, so occasional ads may appear until the extension is updated. blockmaxxing blocks the large majority of ads and is designed to update quickly.
