What is BBOalert?

BBOalert is a Chrome extension that provides instant, automatic alerting for conventional calls during bidding on Bridge Base Online (BBO). It simplifies play by predefining artificial bidding sequences in a table, allowing participants to receive automatic explanations. The extension saves manual explanations entered during a game for future use. It is compatible with Linux, Windows, and Android platforms. Project details are available on GitHub.

Analyze keywords

During the bidding, conventional calls must be alerted and explained to the opponents. Playing artificial bidding systems on BBO is not practical because explaining each alerted call is time consuming and therefore frustrating for all participants.

BBOalert solves this problem. Artificial bidding sequences can be predefined in a table. Opponents get the explanation automatically and immediately. Explanations entered manually during the game are recorded for future use.

This add-on is compatible with Linux, Windows and Android platforms.

This is excellent for people who play a relay system. If you have a system fully documented via Full Disclosure, you can use BBOAlert to provide your opponents with full explanations of all your relay sequences, saving endless typing. Also ideal for bidding practice and learning relay.
