Auto Reader View enhances your Firefox browsing by automatically loading the Reader View on websites you choose. Normally, users must manually activate Reader View for each site, but this extension streamlines that process by allowing you to enable Reader View to open automatically on selected domains.

Activate Auto Reader View by clicking the add-on's book icon, then enable the preference for the current website. A green checkmark indicates that future tabs for that domain will open in Reader View automatically. You can also disable this feature for any site or manage your saved domains in bulk via the preferences page. This extension improves readability and reduces clutter for consistent readers, making your browsing smoother and more enjoyable.

Works as advertised! I have been using for ages. If it is not working for you then the website does not support reader mode, there is another add on that you can use to force the reader mode too. But no issue with this add on :)

Didn't work. I selected a site to automatically open in reader view, then opened that site from a reddit link, and the site opened in normal view rather than reader view. Then I reloaded the page and again it opened in normal view even thought the "Auto Reader View" icon had a green checkmark. So instead I manually reloaded the site in reader view using the Firefox reader view icon near the right of the address bar. Then I removed the Auto Reader View extension. So it goes.
