Audio Output Selector is a Chrome extension that lets you seamlessly change the audio output device for HTML <audio> and <video> elements. Whether you want Twitch audio on your speakers and YouTube on your headset simultaneously, this extension makes managing multiple devices simple and flexible.

Please note, this add-on relies on the experimental Audio Output Devices API, which requires enabling media.setsinkid.enabled to true in about:config. While currently it updates audio devices only for existing elements when run, future updates aim to better support dynamic content on social media platforms. Open-source and community supported, you can find the project on GitHub.

Recent reviews

Works well on most sites, including Youtube. However, it doesn't work together with "Audio Equalizer" and "Equalizer for YouTube" from Muyor, unfortunately. Would be great if this could be changed, because having to switch the equaliser off when playing music on a second device is a pity.

It works as expected on most tabs. When the source gets updated (like after a while when watching a stream, or reloading the page), it stops working, and while that's fine I found another problem. For twitch I use a special player, because it stutters a lot otherwise, and it opens up as a moz-extension site. It straight up doesn't work in those types of sites.
