teloFON

teloFON turns your smartphone into an extension of your company phone system. You make calls using your usual extension, see your colleagues' status, and remain reachable for your team, whether you're at your desk or on the go.

IMPORTANT: teloFON is an application for business customers. You need access from your administrator to use it. The app cannot be used without an activation code and without being connected to a teloFON phone system.

HOW TO SET UP teloFON

Your administrator will create your extension and provide you with an activation code. You enter this code once in the app. After that, your smartphone is connected to the company system, and you can be reached at your usual extension number.

WHY teloFON USES A FOREFRONT SERVICE

As soon as you answer or start a call, teloFON uses a foreground service. This keeps your call active while you leave the app and continue working in another application. The ongoing call is always indicated by the notification; it disappears as soon as you hang up. This service is not active outside of a call.

Microphone access is required for voice transmission during calls. Incoming calls are delivered via an encrypted push notification.

REQUIREMENTS

- Android 7.0 or later
- Access to a teloFON telephone system
- Activation code from your administrator
- Internet connection via Wi-Fi or mobile network
