Background of CAThera

For many people with cancer, exercise and regular training are an important part of treatment and recovery. Exercise can help reduce side effects of therapies, improve quality of life, and increase well-being.

With the introduction of online and video therapy options, it has become possible to participate in exercise therapy from home.

What is CAThera?

CAThera is a new digital application that supports patients and therapists in planning and carrying out exercise therapy. Patients can use CAThera to assess their current health status, performance level, and any discomfort they may be experiencing. The questions are individually tailored to your answers, so you only have to answer as many questions as necessary.

CAThera then displays your results in a clear overview. Your therapist also receives feedback on your information and can plan and adjust the next online therapy session accordingly.

CAThera helps make movement therapy more individualized, flexible, and efficient – ​​whether you are in a clinic, at home, or in an online appointment.

Goals of CAThera

By digitally recording your health status, therapists can tailor your training more precisely to your daily condition and individual needs.

The clear presentation of results provides you with direct feedback on your health status. This helps you to better perceive changes and take an active role in your recovery.
