ArchiveApp: Save articles Firefox

ArchiveApp: Save articles

Save web articles and images as lasting, readable copies in your ArchiveApp library.

Features & Capabilities

ArchiveApp turns web articles into durable, readable snapshots you can revisit later.

When you choose Save, the extension sends the current page URL, readable article content, metadata, and referenced images to archiveapp.com. Pages are never uploaded simply because you visit them, and ArchiveApp does not monitor your browsing history. Saved articles stay private for 15 minutes, then join ArchiveApp's anonymous public reading list — the popup counts this down, and one tap keeps an article private (or use the website’s Default visibility setting to keep new saves private across devices). The listing is anonymous: it never shows who saved an article. Your library includes: • Clean, distraction-free reading • Save from the right-click menu — any link, or any bookmark, without opening it • Favorites, folders, tags, search, and read status • Light, sepia, and dark reader themes • Unlisted share links you can create and revoke • Structured layouts for YouTube, NOS.nl, Reddit, and other websites • A keyboard shortcut for quickly saving articles

An ArchiveApp account is required. ArchiveApp is a hosted beta service.

The extension popup includes quick access to your library and a Log out action.
