Features & Capabilities

Aquila VPN brings secure, user-controlled proxy routing to your browser.

Choose an Aquila location, connect with one click, and route your browser traffic through an authenticated HTTP CONNECT proxy. Aquila is designed for browser use: it does not create a device-wide VPN tunnel or change traffic from other apps.

WHY AQUILA

• Choose where your browser exits Select an available country and city from the Aquila server list. Node latency is measured automatically to help you choose a responsive route.

• Browser-only proxy routing Turn routing on or off directly from the extension popup. Aquila applies the selected proxy configuration to browser traffic only.

• Account-based access Sign in with your Aquila account to use your plan and securely obtain short-lived proxy credentials. Free users can start with a daily traffic allowance; Premium users can unlock the benefits included in their subscription.

• Bypass list Add websites, local addresses, or network destinations that should connect directly instead of through the proxy. Aquila also bypasses its own proxy-node hosts to keep connectivity and latency checks reliable.

• WebRTC leak protection Optionally reduce IP address exposure through WebRTC ICE candidates. This setting is user-controlled and can be changed at any time.

• Clear connection status See the selected server, connection state, measured latency, and daily usage information for Free plans in one compact dashboard.

FEATURES

• Country and city server selection • Automatic node latency measurement • Browser HTTP and HTTPS routing through HTTP CONNECT • Authenticated proxy connections • Free and Premium account support • Daily usage display for Free accounts • Bypass list with local-network support • WebRTC leak-protection setting • Light, dark, and system theme support • Multiple interface languages • Automatic background refresh of available nodes

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Install Aquila VPN.
  2. Sign in to your Aquila account, or explore the available interface first.
  3. Select a server location.
  4. Connect to enable browser proxy routing.
  5. Add any destinations that should bypass the proxy.
PRIVACY AND CONTROL

Aquila requests only the permissions needed to configure browser proxy routing, authenticate the selected proxy connection, store your preferences locally, refresh node availability, and provide optional WebRTC leak protection. Your selected node, connection state, preferences, and required account/proxy configuration are stored locally in the extension so your settings can be restored.

Use Aquila responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws, website terms, and network policies.

Is Aquila VPN Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Aquila VPN requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.
