Use of the Accessibility Service

Lyrio uses the Android Accessibility Service API exclusively to enable the digital blocking and accountability features chosen by the user. The service is used to:

• Detect the opening of applications and browsers blocked by the user and display intervention screens.

• Identify pornographic or inappropriate content in browsers and applications, as configured by the user, and apply the block.

• Keep the protection features configured by the user active.

The service is activated only after explicit user consent and can be deactivated at any time in the device settings. Lyrio does not collect, store, or transmit the content of accessed screens; the information is processed locally on the device only to apply the blocks configured by the user.

Use of local VPN (VpnService)

Lyrio uses the Android VpnService API only as a local mechanism on the device itself to perform DNS filtering and block adult content domains. Lyrio is not a general-purpose VPN application: it does not offer privacy, anonymity, or browsing through remote servers. No traffic is routed to external Lyrio servers — all filtering happens locally on the device, and the local VPN can be disabled by the user at any time.
