PornAlert's core content-filtering feature is powered by Android's Accessibility Service. With your permission, the Accessibility Service reads on-screen text and content in supported apps and web browsers so PornAlert can detect adult or restricted material and keywords in real time. When restricted content is detected, PornAlert shows a prevention screen that helps you step away and stay focused.

The Accessibility Service is used ONLY for this on-device protection:
• Detect adult and restricted content shown on screen.
• Recognize restricted keywords and searches.
• Trigger the on-screen prevention message.

What PornAlert does NOT do with the Accessibility Service:
• It does NOT collect, store, share, or transmit your personal data.
• It does NOT record or upload your browsing history, passwords, messages, or typed text.
• It does NOT change your device or system settings without your permission.
• It does NOT work around Android privacy controls or notifications.
• It does NOT record audio or phone calls.

All content detection happens locally on your device. No screen content ever leaves your phone. The Accessibility Service is optional, enabled by you during setup, and can be turned off at any time from your device's Accessibility settings.
