PrayBefore: prayer lock

Make prayer a habit. Not an afterthought.

PrayBefore helps you put God first — before the scrolling, the worrying, the rushing, and the distractions.

Build a daily prayer habit, spend more time in Scripture, and keep track of the things you're bringing to God.

PRAY BEFORE YOU SCROLL

Use Prayer Lock to block distracting apps until you've taken a moment to pray.

Choose the apps that pull you away most and make prayer your first step before opening them.

MAKE TIME FOR GOD

Set a Prayer Alarm to remind you when it's time to stop and pray.

Build a consistent daily prayer routine, even when life gets busy.

KEEP PRAYING WHILE YOU WAIT

Some prayers take time.

Create your own prayers and keep track of what you're praying for. Mark prayers as answered, waiting, or still praying, so you never lose sight of what you've placed in God's hands.

DON'T KNOW WHAT TO PRAY?

Put what's on your heart into words.

PrayBefore can help you create guided prayers around the things you're praying about — from your worries and relationships to your hopes, goals, and everyday struggles.

KEEP GOD'S WORD CLOSE

Read the Bible and save the verses that speak to you.

Create Scripture collections around themes like faith, hope, peace, strength, anxiety, and more.

Turn your favorite collections into beautiful PDFs you can keep or share with others.

Accessibility Service

PrayBefore uses Android’s AccessibilityService API as part of the Prayer Lock feature.

When you enable Prayer Lock, PrayBefore uses AccessibilityService to detect when you open an app that you have personally selected to lock. PrayBefore can then display the Prayer Lock screen and require you to complete your selected activity in PrayBefore before continuing to the locked app.

This functionality is used only for apps that you choose to include in Prayer Lock. You remain in control of the feature and can disable Prayer Lock or Accessibility access at any time.

PrayBefore also provides an Emergency Unlock option, allowing you to immediately unlock your selected apps without completing the activity.

AccessibilityService is used only to provide the Prayer Lock functionality described above. PrayBefore does not use AccessibilityService to change device settings without your permission, prevent you from disabling or uninstalling apps, or bypass Android security or privacy controls.
