With the combination of the Oval and our app you get a daily visual reminder to put down your phone while tracking your progress and making sure that you are actually sticking to the goals and rules you have set for yourself and family.

HOW IT WORKS:
Simply place your phone inside the Oval and enjoy time offline. This could be done whenever you come home, during certain times of the day when you want to be present, e.g. while spending time with family & friends, when you want to focus or 1-2 hours before bedtime to avoid looking at screens right before you sleep. There are plenty of reasons to be present, but with limitless dopamine just one swipe away it can be difficult.

As humans we respond strongly to visual cues. Meaning: we are easily triggered to take the phone and start scrolling when we see it. Our brains have learned that it is an easy and fast way to get dopamine, making it very hard to resist the urge of grabbing it after seeing it. By removing the phone out of our direct surrounding we remove this trigger.
