DialedIn is a coffee log for people who take their coffee seriously: espresso from the machine, filter from a pourover or a French press, and everything in between. You write down what you ground, weighed and brewed — and you find your way back to what worked.

No account, no server, no sync. Everything stays on your device.


YOUR BAGS ON THE SHELF

Every bag of coffee stands on your shelf as a pouch, with its own colour, label and fill level. The one you are brewing from right now stands at the front. You can see at a glance how much is left and how long the coffee has been resting since roast.

Photograph the label and the app reads out the roaster, name, origin, process, varietal, roast level and roast date. The text recognition runs entirely on your device — the photo is never sent anywhere.


EVERY BREW, WITH EVERYTHING THAT BELONGS TO IT

Dose, liquid, brew ratio, time, water temperature, grind setting and grinder. Plus your rating and how it landed: sour, balanced or bitter.

The brew ratio works itself out. Type in the ratio you usually pull, weigh your dose, and the yield to aim for is already there.

What you used comes off the bag automatically. Every change lands in the history with its timestamp — you can always look up where your coffee went.


YOUR GRINDERS

Enter each grinder with its own scale: numbers, clicks or turns, with a range and the smallest change you can actually read off the dial. A grind setting means nothing without the grinder it was made on — so every brew remembers which grinder it was dialled on, and in which unit. Rename the grinder later and the old recipe still reads correctly.


INSIGHTS

The actual dial-in: mark the brew you would make again as the keeper. Insights then shows you what your keepers have in common:

• The grind on your keepers — kept separate per grinder and per method, because 18 clicks on one grinder is not 18 on another
• Sour, balanced, bitter — which setting tipped it which way
• Up to the first keeper — how many brews and how much coffee it took
• Rest after roasting — how old your best coffees were

The app reports what you entered. It does not tell you what tastes good — you decided that a long time ago.


IT ALL STAYS WITH YOU

DialedIn has no server and needs no internet. There is no account, no sign-up, no cloud. No ads, no tracking, no analytics libraries. Your photos are not uploaded, and the text recognition works offline.

Your data lives on your device, and it goes when you delete the app.
