and then... something happened

What makes a good day? Sometimes, one beautiful thing you still remember.

You call someone over to see a ladybird on a leaf. From a park bench, you watch the sky turn an impossible orange. In a Tube station, a busker plays a song you love but haven't heard in years. And then… you have somewhere to keep them: a little notebook in your pocket. There is room for the ordinary and difficult ones, too.

A walk, a swim, a game you played. A meal you made, somewhere new, a book, a film or a song. Even a dream you want to remember. There are beginnings for these, too.

If you don't keep a journal, this can be enough. If you do, keep a little here to add to it later.

Keep a personal record of your exercise with optional Health Connect import. With your permission, choose walks, runs, rides and other workouts with recorded routes from the last 30 days. Keep their date, time, duration, available distance and route map alongside your own notes and how it felt. Only activities you select are saved in your journal. The app does not write to Health Connect or import in the background. You control phone backups, exports and sharing.

Begin with a few words about what happened. Choose when it happened and how it felt, if you want to. A sentence can be enough. When there is more to say, add your own. And then…

- Keep a walk, run, ride, swim or workout, with distance or time if you like; keep the sports you play, too.
- Remember what you ate, drank or cooked, or somewhere you went, explored or discovered.
- Keep what you read, watched or listened to, a show or exhibition you went to, or a dream you woke up with.
- Leave a draft and return to it, or edit a saved moment later.
- Add photos or videos, record a sound, and keep a place or exact time.
- Draw on paper notes or photos.
- Crop photos, move details around, and make your own tags.
- Turn through saved moments or let an older one resurface.
- Search by kind of moment, words, date, place, feeling or tag; browse the calendar or map.
- Restore deleted moments from the Bin.
- Choose paper, writing style, ink, cover colour and text size, with light, dark or automatic appearance.
- Open the book in landscape on larger screens.
- Use a Home Screen widget or gentle reminders if you like; there are no streaks to maintain.

Your moments are stored on your device. No account is needed, and no AI reads what you write. Protect the app with a PIN or device biometrics, save and load a free complete copy including photos and other media, and share a moment as an image, a video, or just parts of it when you choose to.

Everything you need to keep your moments is free. If you enjoy and then… and find it useful, you can chip in with an optional one-time payment.
