Journal & Diary: Wonaby

Wonaby is a journal and diary for the moments you'd otherwise forget. Catch one in a few seconds, then look back, connect the dots and see how full your life really is, in a private journal only you can read.

The weekend that flew by, the good days you meant to remember, the rough ones you got through. Moments like these are the first to go. If you've started a journal before and let it slide, this one asks for a few seconds, not a page.

📝 CATCH A MOMENT IN A FEW SECONDS
• A few words about what just happened
• How it felt, from Rough to Great
• A photo if you want one, so it works as a photo journal too
• Speak instead of typing: dictation on every plan makes it a voice journal, and what you say becomes text
• What it was about: up to three tags, or none at all

No blank page and no word count. A moment is done before the feeling fades.

🔗 CONNECT THE DOTS
Open Insights and your recap is waiting: a weekly, monthly or yearly look at your moments that finds what you'd never notice on your own. Who was around, what you came back to, where your best days tend to happen, and how your feelings moved through the good weeks and the hard ones. Tap a pattern to see the moments behind it. Each day also gets a short day note.

📅 YOUR YEAR AS A TIMELINE
Walk back through your diary along the Path, a timeline of your moments with their photos, feelings and tags, newest first. Or flick through the last twelve months in the calendar's Month view, where the days you marked as highlights stand out. Tap any day to relive its memories. With Pro, Search finds any moment by its words, dates, life areas or tags.

🌼 NOTHING TO KEEP UP WITH
A daily journal without the daily homework. Miss a day, miss a month, come back when you're ready. No perfect week to chase, no chart ranking how well you reflected, and no notification designed to make you feel behind. An optional daily reminder comes at a time and in a tone you pick. Zen mode hides your streaks. Built for real life, including ADHD brains and weeks that don't fit a grid.

🔒 ONLY YOU CAN READ IT
• End-to-end encrypted journal: what you write is sealed on your device before it ever syncs, with a key locked by your recovery code that never leaves your phone unwrapped. Not even the Wonaby team can read it.
• That covers your moments, feelings, photos, recaps and your Ask Wonaby chat.
• Capture and read offline. Your journal is stored encrypted on your phone and syncs when you're back online.
• Export everything you've written, with your photos, into one file you keep.
• A private diary with a lock: App Lock opens Wonaby with your fingerprint or a PIN.
• To make sign-in and sync work, the server can see your account email and some metadata, such as which tags a moment holds and when you wrote. What you write stays sealed.

📱 NO CLOUD AI
Wonaby's own AI runs on your phone. Patterns over the moments you recorded, no language model is guessing at your feelings. A small on-device model phrases your recaps and day notes and answers your questions, and every AI line is labelled as the AI's. Nothing you write is sent to a cloud AI or used to train any model.

💜 FREE AND PRO
Free includes 5 moments a day, one photo per moment, dictation, one weekly recap a month, and reading your Ask Wonaby threads.
Wonaby Pro adds:
• 10 moments a day, and tags of your own
• Unlimited weekly recaps, plus monthly and yearly recaps
• Ask Wonaby: ask questions about your own journal, answered on your phone
• Search across your whole journal
• On-device voice transcription, so your spoken moments become text without the audio leaving your phone

On the free plan, dictation uses your phone's built-in speech service, which may need a connection. The text lands in the same encrypted journal either way.

Your life is more than you remember. Wonaby is a private record of the life you actually lived: a place to keep your life, not perform it.
