FandomGobbler (previously AO3 Story Tracker)

Track AO3 works in default and custom categories. Customize with notes, ratings, deleted-work alerts, and light/dark mode.

Features & Capabilities

Track fanfiction across AO3, FanFiction.net, and more with categories, notes, ratings, imports, backups, and Google Sheets sync.

FandomGobbler helps you track, organize, and get updates on your fanfiction across AO3 and FanFiction.net.

Save works to default or custom categories, add private notes and ratings, track chapter progress, detect deleted AO3 works, hide works with tags you don't want to see, get notifications when an author you like posts a new work in a fandom you like, and manage your library from an in-page sidebar, popup, or full dashboard. Includes light/dark mode and early FanFiction.net support.

Features include:

  1. Detect works that disappear from AO3 and save them under Lost, so you can still remember what vanished
  2. Watch authors and alert you when they post new works in specific fandoms
  3. Track works across AO3 and FanFiction.net, with FF.net support currently in beta
  4. Hide works that are tagged with tags you don't want to see.
  5. Track chapter progress so you can remember exactly where you left off
  6. Let you mark works for later on AO3 from your phone, then prompt you to import and sort them when you’re back on desktop
  7. Mass Import works from AO3 Marked for Later
  8. Mass Import works from AO3 Bookmarks
  9. Organize works with 7 statuses: For Later, Reading, Completed, Re-reading, On Hold, DNF, and Lost
  10. Create custom categories if the default statuses are not enough
  11. Rate works with private 1–5 star ratings
  12. Add private notes to remember what you liked, what happened, or why you stopped reading
  13. Keep track of series, not just individual works
  14. Use light and/or dark modes for the tracker and AO3 together or separately, so you can keep your site skin if you want (Theme is Solarized by Ethan Schoonover)
  15. Show badges on AO3 pages when a work is already saved or tracked
  16. Use a floating sidebar to manage your tracker without leaving AO3
  17. Open a full dashboard to browse, filter, sort, and manage your library
  18. View dashboard stats and reading insights
  19. Back up and restore your library with export/import tools
  20. Hide works by tag while browsing AO3
