AlwaysKillSticky Firefox

AlwaysKillSticky

Get rid of sticky elements on websites - permanently!

Features & Capabilities

AlwaysKillSticky is a Chrome extension designed to enhance your browsing by permanently removing sticky and fixed elements on websites. These elements, often used for persistent headers, ads, or navigation bars, can sometimes interfere with user experience.

The extension works by detecting all page elements with CSS position properties of ‘sticky’ or ‘fixed’ and removing them. It offers both blacklist and whitelist modes—allowing you to specify on which sites the sticky elements should be removed or preserved. Additionally, AlwaysKillSticky provides fine-grained control, letting users target specific domains or exclude certain pages from sticky element removal. This customization ensures a seamless, distraction-free browsing tailored to your preferences.

User Reviews

Breaks startpage search taking away the text area to type in your search query! Had to spend several mins turnning add ons on and off to figure out it was this one causing the problem.
