AndroidNexus Companion

AndroidNexus Companion is the on-device agent for the AndroidNexus mobile device management (MDM) platform. It is intended for company-owned Android devices enrolled into an AndroidNexus organization by an IT administrator.

This app has no standalone functionality. It is delivered to enrolled devices by an organization’s IT administrator through managed Google Play as part of device provisioning.

Once enrolled, AndroidNexus Companion:

• Applies device policies from your IT administrator, including Wi-Fi configuration, app allowlists, kiosk and dedicated-device modes, screen-lock policy, and device restrictions.
• Synchronizes managed configuration and policy updates while the device is in use or idle.
• Installs and updates administrator-assigned managed custom apps.
• Reports device health, policy compliance, and IT-relevant operational telemetry to your organization’s AndroidNexus tenant.
• Hosts the kiosk launcher for single-purpose and dedicated devices.

AndroidNexus Companion does not read SMS, email, contacts, calendar, browsing history, photos, camera, or microphone data. It does not collect geographic location. It does not display ads or collect data for marketing.

AndroidNexus is an MDM product for organizations. Device removal and factory-reset actions apply only to devices that an organization has enrolled into its own management account.
