User Reviews

Most reviews describe AeroGuest as unreliable and hard to use. The top pain points are failed door/key access and high unlock failure rates, inability to receive verification codes for sign-up, and general app instability. Users also report poor UX/UI, including unusable search and controls that are hard to reach, plus PMS integration problems affecting room features like heating or lighting. A minority note that the app can be easy to use and fast when it works, but this is not the common experience.

Pros

Easy to use and quick to operate when functioning
Modern, clean app design with intuitive access to doors and elevators
Fast check-in experience when the app works

Cons

Door/lock access is unreliable with a high failure rate; cannot unlock doors or elevators consistently
SMS verification codes often aren’t delivered or cannot be received during sign-up/login
General app instability and crashes (often after opening or on first login)
Poor UX/UI and navigation issues (unusable search, date picker button may be off-screen, hidden navigation)
Hotel PMS integration issues causing other features (heating, lights) not functioning as part of the check-in

Installed this app when checking into a Wakeup hotel in Copenhagen. It worked for unlocking the room but not for unlocking the elevator, nor for gaining access to the restrooms on the second floor adjacent to the restaurant. Reported this to someone at the front desk, she acknowledged there were problems with the system and gave us a physical card, which did work were it should. This app is clearly not ready for prime time and should be avoided.
