This is my 3rd Persona. I had created a very vibrant “Star Swirl” one the day before. I decided to follow up with a softer colored one. This one's a good choice for anyone who is unhappy, depressed, or suffering from depression. The colors are peaceful and cheering. Wow, I DID it! I tried making another Solids Persona & I actually Like it, even though it's only one color. I think this is the most solid Solids Persona that I have ever made! I'm happy to say that the tool bars are very readable, & the green color is actually relaxing. I'm starting to understand why people make these Solid Personas. This is a variation on Cotton Candy Swirl. A family member who liked the deeper colors urged me to submit this. If you have the “Little Firefox Icon” in the left corner of your screen, you may be amused that the fox's mouth appears to begin the swirl in the footer! Anybody who has seen my gallery knows that I love using rainbows in my Personas.. I tried to keep these 2 designs simple, but pretty. “A BIG Rainbow for Easter” is actually “Rainbows for Easter” flipped over. When I flipped it as an experiment, I liked what I saw so much that I left it exactly as it was. So, if you use this one and you have a larger browser than I do, you might see more than one rainbow! I decided that my 1st try was more vibrant than peaceful. Here's a 2nd option. It's the 2nd Persona I've finished since the one I made for my sister Jayne. She lives in Japan and was working in Tokyo when the earthquake hit. She is fine. I'm the wreck! This one's deeper hued and calmer. Purple & blue violet are the main shades. I love to think about all of the fun involved seeing the New Year in on New Year's Eve. A band playing Auld Lang Syne.... People cheering & shouting... Balloons soaring through the air, and colorful confetti being thrown or dropped from high places...Crepe paper streaming through the air... Celebrations with friends and family... Malachite-a semi-precious gemstone used in Jewelry & small art objects. It's often found with copper ore. African has more irregular, unusual patterns than that from other areas. I was having problems with an almost finished Persona.. I was tired of struggling with it. Rats-I really wanted to upload Something...Oh, a brilliant idea! What about a SOLIDS Persona? That would be quick & easy, right? Ha.. I tried & rejected color after color. I really wanted multiple hues--& a pattern! I finally made this striped violety blue one.When I put it on my browser it didn't look solid at all. How in the world do you Solid Making Designers DO it? Calibration, desperation can be very funky, I think my hues are oh so true, but then I find they're punky, Perhaps I have the answer--paste my colors in a chart-- But one looks like another and I don't know where to start! Beware all ye, who just like me, are seeking true perfection, Your never going to find it in your PC's hue selection. Just take the Blues & Greens & Reds that have you so perplexed, Go outdoors & enjoy them there, at least they've not been “hexed”! I made 5 “African Malachite Personas before a friend of mine said that I got the colors right. He liked attempt 05. When I first created the poem and the design, the description fields were only 500 characters long. I gave the exact hex numbers to each color in my Persona (exact on MY PC at least) but I had to put them in the design itself. Now I can also provide them in this 1200 character description field. Many PersonaLand citizens have mixed feelings about the Solid Sector. They're unsure if they are welcome there or not, especially the more flamboyant colorful ones. Many tend to avoid it, although every now and then, some slip in to visit. Abstract citizens do go there more than anyone else. Their own sector tends to have a lot of wild, noisy, parties. Although Abstractians love to party, they do occasionally crave some peace & quiet. The Solid Sector is the place to find it. I don't spend much time in the Solid Sector, but one day I heard that an abstract ballet troupe was holding a dress rehearsal there. I went off to investigate. It turned out to be the All Star PersonaLand Ballet, well known for its style and finesse. They were hard at work, dancing in a beautiful classical style & trying out different kinds of stage lighting. I enjoyed seeing them rehearse. Michigan is a great state to live in when the leaves turn in the fall. The colors are spectacular! They are a nice consolation prize to enjoy before the long, sometimes dreary winter days arrive. These sky blue, warm brown, and dark green leafy personas are my “Ode to Fall” this year. One look at the repeat patterning on these two Valentines Personas, and you might wonder what IS natural about this design! Well, the Petunias are, and the hearts almost are! I took one of my photographs, and studied it. There were red leaves in it that made me think of heart shapes. I used an outlined Heart Brush to enhance the shape, but the basic heart shape was already in the leaf. The red in the heart(s) is made entirely from the actual leaves in my photo. I darkened the red leaves around it for better contrast. That didn't do the job entirely. I ended up cutting out my leafy heart, and brightening it up a bit. I then put my photo end on end to get the repeat patterning. I liked the way the bottom of my Persona came out. So I switched the two halves and filled in the leafy green areas, for the 2nd design. Making these was a great learning experience for me. Discovering this gradient was a happy accident! I had fun adding “bubbles.”They aren't all round. Some of the more oval ones look like Easter Eggs. Rich colors and a beautiful gradient to decorate. Who could ask for anything more? What a joy designing can be! I started experimenting with its header to see if I could improve it. Well, I ended up I totally remaking it!. Here are the 2 recycled results. The first one reminds me of a patchwork quilt. The darker one looks like a Ukrainian Easter Egg pattern! I've been playing around with leaves in these 3 Personas. They are all based on the same pattern, but the first one made me think of Mosaic tiles, and the other 2 made me think of Stained Glass Windows. The darker stained glass one is good for any time of year and the pastel colored one is great for Easter wear. “A Green Leafed Mosaic” is the truest in color to the leaves that I used. Approvers have been unable to process Edits for more than a week now. All we can see is a white blank page. So we are on Hold as far as Edits go.
