This is my 3rd Persona. I had created a very vibrant “Star Swirl” one the day before. I decided to follow up with a softer colored one. This one's a good choice for anyone who is unhappy, depressed, or suffering from depression. The colors are peaceful and cheering. Wow, I DID it! I tried making another Solids Persona & I actually Like it, even though it's only one color. I think this is the most solid Solids Persona that I have ever made! I'm happy to say that the tool bars are very readable, & the green color is actually relaxing. I'm starting to understand why people make these Solid Personas. This is a variation on Cotton Candy Swirl. A family member who liked the deeper colors urged me to submit this. If you have the “Little Firefox Icon” in the left corner of your screen, you may be amused that the fox's mouth appears to begin the swirl in the footer! I decided that my 1st try was more vibrant than peaceful. Here's a 2nd option. It's the 2nd Persona I've finished since the one I made for my sister Jayne. She lives in Japan and was working in Tokyo when the earthquake hit. She is fine. I'm the wreck! This one's deeper hued and calmer. Purple & blue violet are the main shades. You are welcome to put it on, take a deep breath, and relax. I'll try to relax too. Anybody who has seen my gallery knows that I love using rainbows in my Personas.. I tried to keep these 2 designs simple, but pretty. “A BIG Rainbow for Easter” is actually “Rainbows for Easter” flipped over. When I flipped it as an experiment, I liked what I saw so much that I left it exactly as it was. So, if you use this one and you have a larger browser than I do, you might see more than one rainbow! 2 of these 3 abstract designs are sleep-themed. Dreaming in BubbleGum is the color of an afternoon nap in a cheery but ineffectively darkened room. Weaving my Dreams is deep hued peaceful nighttime slumber, the kind I crave that often eludes me. Watermelon Waves is the odd ball in this trio. It is one wild looking watermelon, but the colors are right! I think I'll eat some & settle down for a snooze. One look at the repeat patterning on these two Valentines Personas, and you might wonder what IS natural about this design! Well, the Petunias are, and the hearts almost are! I took one of my photographs, and studied it. There were red leaves in it that made me think of heart shapes. I used an outlined Heart Brush to enhance the shape, but the basic heart shape was already in the leaf. The red in the heart(s) is made entirely from the actual leaves in my photo. I darkened the red leaves around it for better contrast. That didn't do the job entirely. I ended up cutting out my leafy heart, and brightening it up a bit. I then put my photo end on end to get the repeat patterning. I liked the way the bottom of my Persona came out. So I switched the two halves and filled in the leafy green areas, for the 2nd design. Making these was a great learning experience for me. I spotted this mushroom clump in PersonaLand's Nature Sector; by a sidewalk. If you like normal mushrooms, you will prefer the daytime photo. But-- there's more to this fungi than meets the eye! It's rumored that this character is a moonlighter. Some people insist that it changes into a violet blue spaceship that orbits the galaxy.. Others say that it simply hangs out in the Nature Sector with a bunch of fireflies. Have a good look at the nighttime Persona--& draw your own conclusions. When I dream, I dream in color. I took it for granted for a long time that everybody did, but I guess that isn't true. Maybe that is one of the reasons I love colors so much. I am testing yet a 3rd J peg Persona. I am hoping that *Yet another Jpeg Test Persona will malfunction and only show an accent color. Along with it, I'm uploading a similar Persona that I hope Will work, in case you would like to wear it. Has anyone from PersonaLand seen some crazy little jungle monkeys from the Abstract Sector? There were at least 5 of them. They were supposed to be posing for an Easter photograph, but they got away from me! I originally discovered them swinging on brightly colored vines in a lush green rainforest. I bribed them out with presents, but I guess they got bored. I really can't blame them-I've never really liked having my picture taken either. If anyone spots them, please let me know! Michigan is a great state to live in when the leaves turn in the fall. The colors are spectacular! They are a nice consolation prize to enjoy before the long, sometimes dreary winter days arrive. These sky blue, warm brown, and dark green leafy personas are my “Ode to Fall” this year. I love to think about all of the fun involved seeing the New Year in on New Year's Eve. A band playing Auld Lang Syne.... People cheering & shouting... I think that zebras were on my mind when I made these 3 Personas. Crayola Crazy Stripes reminded me of some of the crayons from the 64 pack box. Fancy brightly colored beach umbrellas also came to my mind. Rippled Rainbow Sherbet has mostly orange and raspberry flavors, with hints of lemon and pineapple. It makes me want to dive for the carton of it that is in our freezer. Striped Summer Strife is my rebellion Persona. It has vivid summer colors in it, but autumn colors are starting to slip in also. Although I love the leaf colors in the fall, I am not ready for summer to end yet! I'm glad that it won't be fall for another 10 days. These 2 Morning and Evening SkyBows fit well on Firefox 3 or 4. I was experimenting with Firefox 4's tab system when I made them. Rich colors that are deeper than pastels seems to work well with the dark tabs that we have been given, but I have a lot of experimenting left to do. I am very happy with the way these turned out & I think you will be too. Traditional Valentine's Day colors are Red, Pink, Violet, & White. Somehow I ended up adding pastel pink, orange, yellow, green, blue & purple. I'm simply crazy for color! (If they made a multicolored Car, I'd probably be pounding on the dealership's door to get the 1st one!) Anyway, here is a Valentines Design for all you multicolor fans out there.
