Keyboard (alpha)

Introducing the open alpha:
Alpha testing is the first stage of real-world testing, where a selected group of users try the app out before its official release in order to test performance, catch issues early, and collect feedback that will shape the project's direction.


Ergonomics:
A keyboard is one of the most frequently used input components on any device, which makes ergonomics a critical foundation.

The layout has been developed with the goal of supporting a natural and consistent hand positioning across different device types, adapting to their physical and display features. The end result offers a completely symmetrical layout no matter the situation.


Device compatibility:
The app is designed to work across the full range of form factors, going from phones and foldable devices to tablets.

Compatible with foldable devices, the keyboard and settings menu adapt to the current display size, ratio and present features (camera cutouts, half-folded display).


Functionalities:
The keyboard comes with a set of features designed to cover all kinds of typing needs, even ones you never knew you would need.

Configure the numpad key sorting, caps lock trigger, key gestures for cursor movement and deleting text, feedback intensity and effects, in-text searching, dictionary suggestions...

Shape your typing experience rather than accepting a one-size-fits-all!


Add-ons:
With an integrated add-on system, the keyboard becomes fully customizable and future-proof. No switching apps, no interruptions.

· The emojis add-on brings a fully accessible emoji panel directly into the keyboard, with integration for in-text search (:keyboard→⌨️).
· The clipboard add-on grants you direct access to copied text and files directly within the keyboard, with a dedicated favorites menu where you can store, sort and color items to your liking.
· Cursor controls that grant you precise text navigation and edition.
· And the brightest example of what's to come is with the built-in unit converter, which removes the need to switch to a separate app in mid-conversation or task.


Appearance:
The settings offer a comprehensive set of appearance options for background, key, and text, allowing users to define the overall feel of the keyboard, from sharp and minimal to soft and rounded.

Set any color theme, background image and transparency, key shape and transparency, and even any font file of your liking.

Appearance settings are completely individualized for light and dark modes giving users an even more advanced customization experience.


Privacy:
When it comes to password inputs, the keyboard comes with security features designed to reduce exposure risks.

Numeric keypad scramble, blocking key previews and animations, low contrast keys, and screenshot prevention.
