Review summary

Users like the per-domain zoom memory and the straightforward UI, which is helpful for large-text pages and even supports Android. However, recurring issues include Android-specific non-functionality and the magnifying glass feature not working in updates, highlighting platform compatibility and feature reliability gaps.
Pros
  • Remembers and applies zoom on a per-domain basis, not globally, across visits.
  • Works on Firefox for Android and is seen as a helpful feature for mobile users.
  • Simple, lightweight UI with easy-to-use +/- controls (low learning curve).
  • Useful for large-text pages and web apps, including content inside iframes.
  • Generally fast and responsive, with users noting good support responsiveness.
Cons
  • Not working on Android Firefox in multiple reports, indicating platform compatibility issues.
  • Magnifying Glass feature not functioning in newer updates, reported by more than one user.

2026-06-22 Fi***** From a quick glance into the extension code I find very strange lines like scripts/background.js:984: chrome.tabs.create({url: "...facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=" + linkproduct, active:true}); scripts/background.js:988: chrome.tabs.create({url: "...connect.qq.com/widget/shareqq/index.html?url=" + encodeURIComponent(linkproduct)... scripts/background.js:990: chrome.tabs.create({url: "...service.weibo.com/share/share.php?url=" + linkproduct... scripts/background.js:992: chrome.tabs.create({url: "...vk.com/share.php?url=" + linkproduct... scripts/background.js:994: chrome.tabs.create({url: "..api.whatsapp.com/send?text=" + chrome.i18n.getMessage("sharetextd")... It smells telemetry. Beware!

2025-12-06 Go***** Great extension that does something for Firefox for Android that I've been looking for for ages. Cheers. However, there is one small issue that I've been trying to explain on your support site, but I keep on getting red text saying that I've used "unappreciated words", which is puzzling, as there isn't anything in my text that denigrates your extension or yourself. My text is below: "One small issue is that when I first select the extension from Firefox's extension list in the Firefox drop-down for the page that I'm looking at, in order to increase or decrease the font size, the first click on the Z just brings me back to the webpage that I'm currently looking at. I have to click through a second time in order to get to the Zoom for Firefox font resize settings page to resize the fonts (I have it set to only affect fonts on the webpage). Also, sorry if my description is a bit confusing. My setup: Pixel 9 Pro Android 16 (fully updated) Firefox Beta (latest)" No idea why this can't be sent to you on your help page, so I've been forced to send it here. Sorry for the noise.

2025-11-04 Fi***** Fucking ridiculous that this isn't a native function. It's fucking Zoom. Thanks for doing the devs' jobs for them, though.
