Zoom Tab Close Firefox

Zoom Tab Close

Auto-closes Zoom videoconferencing tabs when a meeting is successfully joined.

Features & Capabilities

Zoom Tab Close is a Chrome extension designed to improve your Zoom meeting experience by automatically closing browser tabs after successfully joining a meeting via the desktop app. When you click a Zoom link in your browser, the Zoom desktop app launches, but the original browser tab remains open and redirects to a "status=success" URL, which requires manual closing.

This lightweight extension detects that redirection and instantly closes the Zoom browser tab for you, helping keep your workspace clean and distraction-free. Perfect for frequent Zoom users who want to streamline their workflow without managing extra tabs manually.

This now often closes the zoom tab before it delivers the zoom protocol request to open the meeting in the Zoom app, preventing you from joining the meeting. If you fix it with a new version, comment on my review to give me a notification that it's updated, and I'll test it and switch my review to 5 stars if it works.
