🔒 Privacy and permissions (important clarification):


To provide the core functionality of the app (Caller ID), we need certain permissions. Here's exactly why we need them:

1. Access to call log (READ_CALL_LOG):


Why? This is the most critical permission for the "Caller ID" function. Our app must be able to receive the incoming call number at the moment of the call to search it in the database and show you the caller's name. Without this permission, it is not possible to identify the call.


We promise to use this access only for call identification and to keep your information safe.

2. Access to phone status (READ_PHONE_STATE):


Why? To let the app know when your phone is ringing (Ring status) to start the search operation.

3. Display over other apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW):


Why? To display the caller's name in a floating box (Overlay) exactly when the phone rings, so that you can see the person's identity without having to open the app.
