User Reviews

Users praise the add-on for its simple UI, per-channel defaults, and playlist support. However, reliability issues persist: per-channel defaults aren’t consistently saved or honored, speeds reset during skips or ads, and there’s no fractional-speed support. YouTube Music isn’t well supported due to domain restrictions, and there are broader compatibility problems on Android and older Firefox versions. Overall, it’s useful but has several persistent bugs and limitations that need addressing.

Works OK ish but then randomly applies a setting from a specific channel globally - i.e. bugged mess, not updated in years - bit of a shame on the author.

Is that possible to make it work on YouTube music too? Right now after each new song it changes it's playback speed back to 1 and requires manual setting for each song even when default is different from 1 it starts every song from 1 speed. Could it be maded like with videos? At which it would hold setted default speed without going back to 1.

Works really well, awesome! The only gripe I have with this cool add-on is that it does not take into account that the browser (Firefox in this instance) always assumes the tab is set to zero playback speed. The result is that if I want to reduce playback speed by one tick, I end up at .75 and not the expected 1.75. Any chance for a fix? Can you take the actual current speed into account? Keep it up!
