YouTube Comment Reader turns a video's comment section into a powerful spreadsheet: search, sort and filter by author, time, upvotes, replies, timestamps and more. Navigate comments and nested replies with arrow keys, toggle light/dark mode, and translate foreign-language comments instantly. The extension supports YouTube Shorts and gives quick access to open short videos in a regular player.

Export loaded comments (respecting current filters and sort order) to CSV (comma, tab or semicolon), JSON, or XML for Excel — with dark-mode-aware Excel export. Load comments incrementally, interrupt and resume loading, and jump to the original YouTube comment to reply or upvote. Shortcut keys (default Ctrl+Shift+Y) and in-popup controls make it fast to open and manage comments across languages and formats.
