Yoroi Firefox

Yoroi

By: EMURGO
A simple, secure and fast Cardano ADA wallet. Your gateway to the financial world.

Features & Capabilities

Yoroi is a fast, lightweight Cardano ADA wallet available as a browser extension. It launches quickly, enables sending and receiving ADA in minutes without syncing the entire blockchain. The small installation package makes it bandwidth-friendly, and ADA can be imported from Daedalus into Yoroi. The extension supports five languages: English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

Security and privacy are at the core: private keys are stored only on the user’s device and encrypted with the wallet password. There is no central storage of keys, and funds can be managed without blockchain synchronization. Yoroi focuses on ease of use across languages while keeping your assets under your control.

Is Yoroi Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Yoroi requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.
