User reviews

Users appreciate Yet Another Speed Dial for its simplicity, clean design, and reliable performance as a speed dial extension for Firefox. It effectively serves as a homepage for quick bookmark access. However, multiple reviews mention the lack of features like folder display on the main screen, oversized icons without resize options, and a less polished UI compared to the Chrome version. Some users also desire better tab naming and language settings. Overall, it is favored for its ease of use but could benefit from added customization and refinement.
Pros
  • Simple and easy to use with a clean interface
  • Effective and reliable as a speed dial extension
  • Allows quick access to bookmarks as a homepage
  • Customizable with options like import/export settings
  • Lightweight and fast performance
Cons
  • Lacks certain desired features such as folder display on the main dial area
  • Icons are too large with no option to resize
  • User interface not as polished as the Chrome version
  • No option to change language settings in some cases
  • Tab names default to 'Speed Dial' making it hard to distinguish between multiple tabs

This is potentially a great speed dial extension—it allows you to build a custom homepage with a clean design. However, there’s a critical and annoying bug specific to Firefox: the custom background image resets to default unpredictably and frequently. Notably, this doesn’t happen in Chrome. Background images vanish spontaneously after several hours of normal usage. You can reproduce this bug by reloading the speed dial page repeatedly for a minute or two and then relaunching the browser. Latest macOS, latest Firefox, latest version of the extension.

Just perfect. Free, lots of config, light, easy screencapture web. I love IT!

I wish i could move the speed dials around the page, like maybe center them to the top-left corner, and other areas, otherwise yeah this is perfect
